JOKKE balcony glazing is easy to use. Here are a few tips to make opening and closing the window panes even easier.
OPENING THE FIRST PANE
Start opening the glazing from the edge that has the top lock cord.
Create an access gap of approximately 5 mm between the first and second panes by pushing the sliding windows in opposite directions.
Slide the lower lock in the direction of the arrow, until it is in line with the gap.
Pull gently on the cord to undo the top lock and open the pane.
OPENING THE OTHER PANES
Slide the next pane until it is close to the first open pane.
Place your hand on the edge of the pane, about halfway up.
Push the pane so that it is next to the open pane.
Hold the edge of the pane while opening.
ATTACHING THE PANES TO THE WALL
Turn the desired number of panes open against the side wall.
Place the holder of the cord lock around the lower wheel.
CLOSE THE PANES IN REVERSE ORDER
Remember the access gap when closing the window panes! You can close the access gap by sliding the pane back into its place next to the first pane. The soft gasket on the final pane will seal the gap against the wall.
TIPS
The top lock’s cord can be shortened temporarily by twisting it upwards and attaching it to the slot on the winder. See picture.
